Financial advisory

Collect your fee. Nothing else.

Advisory practices (MCC 6300 and 6211) use Zoyn for one narrow job: collecting the practice's own professional fees. Zoyn is a non-custodial payment orchestration platform — it is not a money transmitter, it gives no financial or investment advice, and it must never be used to receive client assets, trust money, or pooled investment funds.

Why this category gets penalised

The problem is the gap between paying and travelling.

A category acquirers underwrite cautiously

Financial-services MCCs sit in the part of the acquiring book where reserves, delayed funding and extra documentation are common, regardless of how clean an individual practice's history is.

Settlement is treated as final only after the required network confirmations, and the confirmed leg is not a card-network dispute rail over collected fees.

Fee disputes after the work is delivered

A plan, a review, or a report is delivered and then questioned. On card rails the funds are pulled back before the merits are heard, with a fee attached whichever way it lands.

Fees are pushed by the client, not pulled from them, and a confirmed transfer has no reversal path.

Keeping fee income and client money apart

Mixing a practice's fee income with anything belonging to a client is a compliance problem long before it is an accounting one, and a single pooled settlement account invites exactly that.

Fees settle straight into a wallet the practice controls. Zoyn never holds funds and cannot be used as a client account.

Splitting a fee with a co-advising practice

Joint engagements and paraplanning subcontractors mean the fee has to be divided, which normally happens after the money has already landed in one firm's account.

The fee settles to your practice's wallet, final, at confirmation, and paying the co-advising firm's agreed share on is a USDC transfer whose timing you control, signed yourself.

How it works

One payment, settled to a wallet you control.

How a travel booking settles through ZoynA traveller pays a booking link. The payment reaches a settlement contract, which divides it in fixed proportions set when it was deployed and pays the merchant’s own wallet and the platform fee directly. Zoyn sits outside the flow of funds.TravellerHostedcheckoutSplitcontractYour walletPlatform feeZoyn (config)Funds never pass through Zoyn
1

Create the fee link

A fixed amount for a defined engagement — a plan, a review, a retainer period — with your own client reference.

2

Client pays card or crypto

Hosted checkout handles either. Card availability depends on the buyer's location, currency, and available checkout providers. Card-funded payments clear upstream through integrated global on-ramp bridges, so card data never enters your systems.

3

Screening runs before anything settles

Beneficiary wallet addresses are checked against real-time on-chain compliance oracles when they are added, and re-screened daily after that.

4

The fee settles to your wallet

USDC arrives on Base in a wallet the practice controls. Zoyn never holds it.

Category

MCC 6300 and 6211 are supported categories in this group. Your declared category is checked at signup.

Jurisdictions we cannot serve

We cannot onboard merchants operating from comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. We do not hold ourselves out as licensed anywhere.

Wallet addresses you'll be paid to are checked against sanctions lists when you enter them, and re-checked every day after that.

Common questions

What financial advisory merchants ask first.

Can we collect client investment funds or trust money through Zoyn?

No. Zoyn is for collecting your practice's own fees and nothing else. It is not a money transmitter, it holds no client accounts, and it takes no custody at any point — so it must not be used to receive, pool, or move money belonging to a client. Those flows stay with your custodian.

Does Zoyn give financial or investment advice?

No. Zoyn is software for collecting payments and routing them to wallets you control. It makes no recommendation about any product, asset, or allocation, and nothing in the platform should be read as advice — including the fact that fees settle in stablecoins rather than in local currency.

Are you licensed in our state?

We do not hold ourselves out as licensed anywhere, because the platform is non-custodial and sits outside the flow of funds. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Your own licensing and disclosure obligations are unchanged by how you collect a fee.

Legal & regulatory disclosures

Zoyn is a software provider operating a non-custodial payment orchestration platform — not a payment gateway, money transmitter, payment processor, or financial institution. Zoyn does not custody settled merchant funds or set provider reserve terms, and does not act as a merchant of record or money services business. Checkout and on-ramp providers may process or hold card- or bank-funded payments under their own terms before on-chain settlement reaches the merchant's nominated contract after required confirmations.

Direct merchant account onboarding supported across 64 verified global jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Global buyer checkout (USDC settlement) supported across 130+ countries via integrated on-ramp bridges; buyer-checkout coverage is determined by the third-party on-ramp providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice. Not available in sanctioned jurisdictions: CU, IR, KP, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
