Payment problems — A second way to get paid

Keep the card machine you have. Add a second way to get paid that doesn't depend on your card company.

You don't have to have a problem to read this page. Most businesses that set this up do it before anything has gone wrong — because the week something does go wrong is the worst possible week to be setting it up for the first time.

Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 10 we refuse.

Why a second way is worth having

A single provider is a single point of failure, however clean your record is.

One company can switch you off

Being cut off from card processing isn't always slow or gradual — a single provider's own decision can end your ability to take card payments, on their own timeline, and it can follow you personally, not just the business, for years afterward. Whatever your record looks like today, a single point of failure is still a single point of failure.

A backup only works if it's already set up

Setting up a second way to get paid after your first one stops working means doing it during the exact week you can least afford the delay. Every application here is reviewed the same way whether you're calm or scrambling — the difference is entirely in when you start.

It costs you nothing to have both

This sits alongside your existing card processing, not instead of it. There's no requirement to move volume here, no minimum, and no penalty for using your existing provider for everything until the day you don't want to.

What's different here

Two independent providers means one of them acting is not both of them acting.

A payment that settles by crypto wallet lands directly in a wallet only you control, after the network confirms it. Zoyn does not keep back a share of your sales as security, and no single company's decision can reach money that has already settled.

Three honest limits, in the same breath. First: a sale can still be turned away or delayed before it reaches you, if the checks on that payment don't pass — that's a sale you don't get, never money taken back after the fact. Second: the card option on this checkout is a separate switch from the wallet leg — like any card acceptance, it can be paused for the whole platform if the company handling that leg sees a pattern of abuse. That's a different risk from a reserve, and it has nothing to do with anything already settled to your wallet. Third: while your Zoyn account is under review, Zoyn pauses automatic payouts to your wallet until the review is finished.

How it works

Set it up once. Use it the day you need it, or never.

1

Apply once, in minutes

Tell us about your business. We review it the same way for everyone.

2

Keep using what you already have

Nothing about your existing card processing changes. This is a second option sitting beside it, not a replacement you have to switch to.

3

It's ready the day you need it

Send a payment link any time — the first time you use it can be the day your existing provider gives you a reason to.

Common questions

What people ask before they've had a problem.

Do I have to move my existing business here?

No. This is designed to sit alongside whatever you already use, with no minimum volume and no requirement to move anything. Most people who set this up never touch it again until the day their existing provider gives them a reason to.

What does it cost to just have this ready?

There's no cost to holding it in reserve — you're only charged on payments that actually go through this checkout. Set it up once and it costs nothing to leave unused.

If my existing provider ever does cut me off, can I move fast?

If it's already set up, yes — you send a payment link the same way you always would. What takes time is the setup itself, which is exactly why this page exists: to do that once, before you need it, instead of during the week you do.

Will the same thing happen to me here?

A payment that settles by crypto wallet goes straight to a wallet only you control, and Zoyn does not keep back a share of your sales as security. Three honest limits: a sale can still be turned away or delayed before it reaches you if the checks on that payment don't pass — a lost sale, not money clawed back; the card option on this checkout can be paused for the whole platform if the company handling that leg sees a pattern of abuse; and while your Zoyn account is under review, Zoyn pauses automatic payouts to your wallet until the review is finished. None of those is the reserve mechanism your existing provider uses, and having two independent providers means one of them acting is not both of them acting.
