Emails when you joined through a referral partner

Which emails may carry your partner's branding, and which always come from Zoyn alone.

If you joined Zoyn through a referral partner, a small set of emails may carry that partner's branding — their logo, their name, and their support contact. The service itself is unchanged: partner branding changes how an email looks, never who provides the service or where your money settles.

Which emails may carry partner branding

Only the notices around joining:

  • the invitation to join a workspace,
  • confirmation that your application was received,
  • a request for more information during review,
  • approval of your application,
  • the notice that your account is active.

Which emails never will

Everything else always comes from Zoyn alone, with no partner branding: security alerts, legal and agreement notices, anything that is a record of money (payment notices, fee changes), a not-approved decision, and every email your buyers receive.

The disclosure footer

Every partner-branded email ends with a disclosure naming the provider of record. Alongside the partner's own support contact, the footer always states "Powered by Zoyn — software services provided by Zoyn Technologies Inc. d/b/a Zoyn" together with Zoyn's mailing address. If an email claims to involve your partner but carries no such footer, treat it with suspicion and contact support.

Legal & regulatory disclosures

Zoyn is software. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a payment gateway, a money transmitter or a money services business. Zoyn is never the seller in a sale (the "merchant of record"). Zoyn never holds a shop's money, and does not decide how long a payment company may hold it. When a customer pays by card or bank, the payment company handles that payment under its own terms and may hold it for a short time. The money then goes to the shop's own payment contract once the payment network has confirmed it.

Businesses can be based in 64 jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Customers can pay from 130+ countries through the checkout providers we connect to; which countries customers can pay from is set by those providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice. Not available in sanctioned jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
