Send each winning bidder one link for their lot, the day after the sale.
Winning bidders who took part online or by telephone are often in another country. Send each one a link for their invoice — the lot price and the buyer's premium — and release the lot once it is paid. They pay from their own wallet, and stablecoins settle to a wallet you control.
Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 11 we refuse.

The winning bidder took part from abroad
Online and telephone bidders can be in another country, and a bank transfer after the sale can be slow and costly for them.
Send each winning bidder one link for their invoice. They pay from their own wallet, in the currency the link was set in.
Payment is due by a deadline after the sale
Your terms give winning bidders a set time to pay before the lot can be collected or shipped.
Send the link with the invoice the day after the sale, with the invoice number as the description. You release the lot once it is paid.
Some winning bidders don't pay
A bidder who regrets a lot, or simply goes quiet, leaves the lot waiting and the sale unfinished.
Your conditions of sale decide what happens next. A link is a request to pay, not a charge: nothing is taken until the bidder pays it.
Paid invoices settle to a wallet only you control.
Two limits worth knowing. If your own account with us is under review, automatic payouts pause until that is resolved. And a buyer paying by card can be declined, or asked to prove who they are, before the money is sent — a payment that doesn't happen, never money taken back from you afterwards.
One invoice, one link, then the lot is released.
The hammer falls
Your invoice adds the lot price, the buyer's premium and any charges your terms set out.
Send one link per invoice
The winning bidder pays from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks. A large card payment can be declined.
The payment reaches your wallet
After the required network confirmations. Then the lot is released for collection or shipping.
You take the payment after the sale. The sale itself stays yours.
Zoyn does not run live bidding, take deposits from bidders that are held and handed back, or handle refunds. It sends the link for each invoice after the hammer falls.
If you auction art or other high-value lots, money-laundering and sanctions rules in many places, including the UK and the EU for art, may require you to register, check who your winning bidders and sellers are and keep records, and a lot paid in several parts counts as one sale. Those duties are yours to meet however you are paid: being paid to your own wallet does not change them, and Zoyn does not find out who your bidders are or do these checks for you.
What an auction house asks first.
One bidder won several lots.
Send one link for their whole invoice, or one per lot if your terms invoice them separately. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount, and one link is never shared between bidders.
Can we take bidder deposits before the sale?
No. Zoyn doesn't take deposits that are held and handed back after the sale. Each link is a payment for an invoice after the hammer.
A buyer wants money back after collecting a lot.
Your conditions of sale, and the law that applies to you, decide what is owed. Returning any of it is a payment you send back yourself. Zoyn has no refund button. A wallet payment is not reversed by Zoyn after the required network confirmations; a card-funded payment can still be disputed under the provider's own rules.
What does it cost me?
A percentage of each payment, agreed with you in writing before you go live: crypto payments start at 0.75%, and card payments, if your business can take them, have a separate, higher price. No monthly platform fee and no setup fee. Network fees, and any extra charge for how your customer pays, are separate. Your customer pays them on top of your price and sees their total before they pay.
Will you take my auction house?
We publish every business type we take and every one we refuse, and every application is reviewed before it goes live. We don't promise a timeline we can't keep.
