When a large payment is declined
A treatment deposit can run into the tens of thousands, paid by a patient you have never met, from a bank in another country. A single payment that size looks, to an automated check, like the pattern it was built to stop, and the patient's flight is already booked.
The patient pays from their own wallet, for the exact amount on the link. They send it themselves; there is no card limit on a wallet payment, though wallet, network and compliance limits still apply. A card option may also appear at checkout, but for a sum this size treat it as secondary: buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks, and a large card purchase can be limited, declined or asked for ID before it goes through.
The quote comes from your international patients office
The patient sends their records, your team writes a quote for the treatment and the stay, and the deposit confirms the date.
Send the deposit and the balance as two links, each a fixed amount, with the quote or invoice number as the description — never the treatment or the patient's name.
Plans change after the deposit is paid
The consultation on arrival changes the treatment plan, or the patient cannot travel after all.
Your own terms decide what is returned. A deposit taken this way is a full payment, not a card hold, so returning any unused part is a payment you send back yourself. Zoyn has no refund button.

What goes in the link description?
Your quote or invoice number only. Never the treatment, the diagnosis or the patient's name. The link only needs to tell the patient which quote they are paying.
Can a family member pay for the patient?
Yes. Whoever pays the link pays it once, for the amount on it. Send the link to the person who is actually paying.
What does it cost me?
A percentage of each payment, agreed with you in writing before you go live: crypto payments start at 0.75%, and card payments, if your business can take them, have a separate, higher price. No monthly platform fee and no setup fee. Network fees, and any extra charge for how your customer pays, are separate. Your customer pays them on top of your price and sees their total before they pay.
