A student abroad accepts a place, and you need the tuition deposit before you confirm their enrolment. Until it arrives, their visa application cannot move, and the course start date gets closer.
Send the deposit as one fixed link, with the student's reference number and the course intake in its description. The student pays from their own wallet, and settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations.
A large first payment from a bank abroad is stopped or held up
The tuition deposit is often the biggest payment the student or their family has ever sent across a border. Their bank sees a large, first-time transfer to a school in another country, and it is delayed or stopped while the student is left waiting.
A student who holds stablecoins pays the link from wherever they are, in the currency the link was set in. A card option may also appear at checkout: buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks, and a large card payment can be limited, declined or asked for ID.
A refused visa turns the deposit into a refund question
When a visa is refused, or the student withdraws before the course starts, the student asks what comes back and when.
Your own refund policy decides that, together with the rules that apply to you. Zoyn has no refund button: any refund is a payment you send back yourself from your own wallet. A wallet payment is not pulled back by Zoyn after the required network confirmations; card-funded payments can still be disputed under the provider's own rules.

Can I take the deposit now and the rest of the tuition later?
Yes, as two links, each a fixed amount. Every link is a single payment; there is no payment plan, no instalments and nothing charges automatically.
The student's visa was refused. How do I return the deposit?
A deposit taken this way is a full payment, not a card hold, so returning any of it is a payment you send back yourself, under your own refund policy. Zoyn has no refund button.
Can a parent or sponsor pay the student's link?
Yes. Whoever pays the link pays it once, for the amount on it. Send the link to the person who is actually paying.
I'm an education agent. Can I use Zoyn?
For your own consultancy fee, which is paid to you. We don't take agents collecting a student's tuition to pass on to a college or university. The college should send the student its own link.
Is the money really mine once it arrives?
It lands in a wallet only you control. Two honest limits: while your Zoyn account is under review, Zoyn pauses automatic payouts to your wallet until the review is finished; and a card payment can be declined or asked for ID before it is sent.
