Payments for online course creators

Sell your online course to students in any country.

Self-paced video courses, cohort courses, e-books and guides, and continuing-education courses for professionals are bought by people all over the world. Send each student one link for one fixed price — no membership, no renewal — and settle stablecoins straight to a wallet you control.

Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 10 we refuse.

Why course sellers get flagged

The student keeps the course the moment they pay, and that is what makes it risky to others.

Your students are everywhere, and some of them can't pay you

A course sold online reaches people in dozens of countries. Some of them get turned away at checkout by their own bank, or pay extra to convert their money, and you only find out when they write to ask why it didn't work.

A student can pay from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks. Settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

“I watched it and I want my money back”

The student gets the course the moment they pay. Weeks later, with the lessons watched, the payment is disputed. It is a dispute course sellers know well, and it can arrive long after the money looked settled.

When a student pays from their own wallet, they push the payment, and Zoyn does not reverse a settled transfer. A card-funded payment can still be subject to the provider's own dispute rules. Your refund policy and the consumer law that applies to you decide what is owed; Zoyn has no refund button, and any refund is a payment you send from your own wallet.

A launch goes well, and then your money is held

A sudden jump in sales during a launch is exactly the pattern that makes a card provider or a course marketplace pause payouts and ask questions. The course is selling; the money isn't reaching you.

Course fees paid this way settle to a wallet you control, after the required network confirmations. Payouts here can pause too, if your own account with us is under review. Your course stays wherever you host it — this is only how the student pays you.

Your course fees settle to a wallet only you control.

Two limits worth knowing. If your own account with us is under review, automatic payouts pause until that is resolved. And a student paying by card can be declined, or asked to prove who they are, before the money is sent — a sale that doesn't happen, never money taken back from you afterwards.

How it works

One student, one link, one price.

1

Create a link for each student

One fixed price, with the course name and an order number as the description. Each link takes one payment, so every student gets their own link.

2

The student pays

From their own wallet, or by card where available in their country.

3

The money reaches your wallet, and you give access

After the required network confirmations, you see the payment and send the student their access, the same way you do today.

Common questions

What a course creator asks first.

Can I post one link to my whole mailing list?

No. Each link takes one payment, for one fixed amount. For a launch, you send each student their own link. That suits premium courses, cohort courses and team purchases better than a thousand-sale launch day.

Can I sell a membership, or charge monthly?

No. There is no membership, no renewal and no automatic charging. A course sold here is one payment for one fixed price.

Can a student pay in two parts?

Yes — as two links, each a fixed amount, sent when you choose. There is no payment plan that charges them automatically.

Does Zoyn host my course?

No. Keep your course, your videos and your student logins wherever they are now. Zoyn is only how the fee gets paid.

What should the link description say?

The course name and an order number. Leave the student's name out of it.

Do you accept my business?

We publish every business type we take and every one we refuse, and every application is checked before it goes live. We don't promise a timeline we can't keep.

Payouts already stopped somewhere else? Read why that happens, and what we can and can't do about it. Not sure we'd take your business? See exactly how we decide.
