Payments for tour operators

Take the deposit that holds the place, and the balance before departure.

Day tours and city walks, multi-day treks and expeditions, cultural and heritage tours, adventure and activity tours, and small-group and private guided trips all take money months before the guide ever shows up. Settle stablecoins straight to a wallet you control, with no card-network chargebacks on the on-chain leg.

Why this trade gets flagged

Money taken in January for a trip that runs in September is the shape a risk model is built to stop.

The deposit comes in months before the tour runs, and the traveller is usually abroad

A trekking group books in January for a September departure, and the traveller paying is rarely in the same country as the operator running it. A long gap between payment and delivery is exactly what a card issuer treats as risk, and the overseas leg adds currency conversion and cross-border interchange on top.

Travellers can pay from their own wallet, or by card where available through integrated global on-ramp bridges — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks. Either way, settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

“The tour did not match what was described” arrives as a dispute, after the trip is over

A guide is reassigned, a route is shortened for weather, or a group is smaller than promised — and the disagreement about what was actually delivered turns up as a card dispute weeks later, long after the trip and the money both looked settled.

The traveller pushes the payment, and Zoyn does not reverse a settled transfer, so the on-chain leg produces no card-network chargebacks and no ratio to defend. Your own booking terms govern cancellations and changes, together with the consumer law that applies to you. Zoyn has no refund button: any refund you owe is a payment you send from your own wallet. Card- or bank-funded checkout can still be subject to the provider's own dispute rules.

Small-group and private tours are priced individually, and every order looks different from the last

A solo trekker's deposit, a family's private day tour, and a twelve-person group booking are three different amounts from three different countries in the same week — a pattern that is hard for a generic checkout to price consistently.

Each booking is its own fixed-amount payment link, priced and sent by you, whether it is a deposit or the balance.

How it works

One link per booking, priced by you.

1

Create the booking link

Fixed amount — a deposit or the balance — with the tour name and date as the description. Send it from your itinerary, your booking confirmation, or a reply on however the traveller reached you.

2

The traveller pays

Card where available in their country, or from their own wallet.

3

The money lands in your wallet

After the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

Common questions

What a tour operator asks first.

Can I take a deposit now and the balance closer to departure?

Yes — as two links, each a fixed amount. Every link is a single payment; there is no repeat or automatic billing.

My tours are all different prices depending on group size — is that a problem?

No. Each link carries its own amount, set by you when you create it.

Can I take payments on my own web address?

Yes — the checkout can run on your own payment address.

A traveller disputes the tour weeks after it ran — what happens to the payment?

The traveller pushes the payment, and Zoyn does not reverse a settled transfer, so the on-chain leg produces no card-network chargebacks and no ratio to defend. Your own booking terms govern cancellations and changes, together with the consumer law that applies to you. Zoyn has no refund button: any refund you owe is a payment you send from your own wallet.
