Payments for boatyards, marine engineers and chandlers.
Haul-outs, engine work and parts for yachts passing through. Send one link for the deposit, the repair or the part, including a part shipped to a port where the owner has no bank. One link, one payment, nothing charged automatically.
Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 11 we refuse.
Check yours in ten secondsOwners from abroad, parts sent far away, and big jobs on the hard.
The owner is a visitor from another country
Cruising yachts arrive from abroad, need work done, and leave. Their bank is at home, and a foreign card is often where the payment fails.
Send one link for the job. The owner pays from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks.
The part has to go to a port far away
A sailor two countries away needs a pump, a sail or an impeller shipped to the next marina, and you won't ship until it is paid.
Send one link for the part and the shipping, priced together. Once it is paid, the part goes out. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount.
Haul-outs and engine rebuilds tie up the yard
A lift, a space on the hard and an engineer's week are booked ahead, and a large repair bill arrives at the end.
Take a deposit link before the haul-out and a second link for the balance before the boat goes back in. Anything found along the way is one more link for the exact amount.
Yard bills and parts orders settle to a wallet only you control.
Two limits worth knowing. If your own account with us is under review, automatic payouts pause until that is resolved. And an owner paying by card can be declined, or asked to prove who they are, before the money is sent — a payment that doesn't happen, never money taken back from you afterwards.
One job or one part, one link.
Quote the job or the part
Send one link for the fixed amount, with your work order or invoice number as the description.
The owner pays, wherever they are
From their own wallet, or by card where available in their country.
The payment reaches your wallet
After the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.
What a boatyard asks first.
Can I take slip and mooring fees this way?
Yes. A visiting berth, or a season on a mooring, is one link for the fixed amount you quote.
Can winter storage be charged every month automatically?
No. Each invoice is its own link, and there is no automatic monthly charge. Price the season as one link, or send each month's invoice as its own link.
The part was wrong and came back. How do I return the money?
Your own returns terms decide what is owed back. Returning it is a payment you send yourself; Zoyn has no refund button. A wallet payment is not reversed by Zoyn after the required network confirmations; a card-funded payment can still be disputed under the provider's own rules.
Does this work for chandleries selling over the counter?
It fits orders you quote and send: a part for a boat elsewhere, a large order, or a trade account invoice. A quick sale at the counter is still easier on the card machine you already have.
What does it cost me?
A percentage of each payment, agreed with you in writing before you go live: crypto payments start at 0.75%, and card payments, if your business can take them, have a separate, higher price. No monthly platform fee and no setup fee. Network fees, and any extra charge for how your customer pays, are separate. Your customer pays them on top of your price and sees their total before they pay.
Will you take my boatyard?
We publish every business type we take and every one we refuse, and every application is reviewed before it goes live. We don't promise a timeline we can't keep.
