Take the deposit from a buyer who hasn't seen the car yet.
Used, new and electric car dealers, and motorcycle dealers, sell to buyers who find a vehicle on a listing, ask for a video walk-round and want to hold it before they travel. Send the deposit as one link and the balance as another, and stablecoins settle to a wallet you control. A deposit taken this way is a full payment, not a card hold, so returning any unused part is a payment you send back yourself.
Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 11 we refuse.
Check yours in ten secondsA buyer far away, a car on a listing, and a deposit that holds it.
The buyer lives out of town
They have seen the listing and a video, and want to hold the car before they make the trip. A deposit from someone who has never visited looks risky to everyone.
Send one link for the deposit. They pay from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks.
"It wasn't as described"
The argument in this trade is about condition, and it arrives when the buyer finally sees the car.
Put the stock number and your listing reference in the link's description, so the deposit points to one car and one description. Your own terms decide what is returned.
The balance is a bigger payment
The balance is far larger than the deposit, and a large payment can be stopped by the buyer's bank.
Send the balance as its own link for the exact amount. The buyer can pay it from their own wallet; wallet, network and compliance limits still apply.
Deposits and balances settle to a wallet only you control.
Two limits worth knowing. If your own account with us is under review, automatic payouts pause until that is resolved. And a buyer paying by card can be declined, or asked to prove who they are, before the money is sent — a payment that doesn't happen, never money taken back from you afterwards.
A deposit link, then a balance link.
Agree the car and the deposit
The stock number, the price and what the deposit holds.
Send the deposit, then the balance
One link to hold the car, one for the rest before it leaves. The buyer pays from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks.
Each payment reaches your wallet
After the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.
What a dealer asks first.
Can the buyer pay the balance in instalments?
No. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount. There is no payment plan, and nothing is charged automatically.
The buyer changed their mind. Do I return the deposit?
Your own terms decide. A deposit taken this way is a full payment, not a card hold, so returning any of it is a payment you send back yourself. Zoyn has no refund button.
Does this work for motorcycle dealers and electric car dealers?
Yes, the same way: a deposit link to hold the vehicle, then a balance link. Every application is reviewed before it goes live.
What does it cost me?
A percentage of each payment, agreed with you in writing before you go live: crypto payments start at 0.75%, and card payments, if your business can take them, have a separate, higher price. No monthly platform fee and no setup fee. Network fees, and any extra charge for how your customer pays, are separate. Your customer pays them on top of your price and sees their total before they pay.
Will you take my dealership?
We publish every business type we take and every one we refuse, and every application is reviewed before it goes live. We don't promise a timeline we can't keep.
