Payments for chauffeur and limousine hire

Take the booking deposit months ahead, and the balance before the day.

Wedding car hire, limousine firms, executive chauffeur services and event transport all take a deposit long before the car arrives. Clients pay from their own wallet, and settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations. A deposit taken this way is a full payment, not a card hold, so returning any unused part is a payment you send back yourself.

Why this trade gets flagged

A deposit taken months ahead, for a night that may run long.

The wedding car is booked months before the day

A couple books the car, the ribbons and the route long before the wedding. You turn other work away for that date, so the deposit is what protects it, and it is paid by someone you have never billed before.

Take the deposit as one fixed link when the booking is confirmed, with the date and the vehicle in its description. The balance is a second link, sent closer to the day. The client pays from their own wallet, and settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations.

Overtime on the night is agreed in the moment and argued about later

The reception runs late, the car waits an extra two hours, and the figure on the final invoice is not the one on the quote. The client remembers the quote.

Create one more link for the overtime, for the exact extra time, with the hours named in its description, so the client sees what they are paying for before they pay it. Each link is fixed once it is created, so it is never changed after the event.

A no-show, a late car or a cancelled date turns the deposit into an argument

Either the passenger never came out, or the client says the car was late, or the event was moved. Weeks later the question is whether the deposit comes back.

Your booking terms decide cancellations, no-shows and waiting time, together with the consumer law that applies to you. A wallet payment is not pulled back by Zoyn after the required network confirmations; card-funded payments can still be disputed under the provider's own rules.

What you run

One link per booking, whatever the occasion.

Wedding cars and event limousines

A deposit link months ahead to secure the date, then the balance link before the day, and an overtime link only if the night runs long.

Executive chauffeur and black car bookings

One link per journey or per booked day. If a company client wants a monthly account, each invoice is its own link, and there is no automatic monthly charge.

Proms, parties and nights out

One link per booking, sent to the person who is paying for it. A link takes one payment, so it is never shared across a group.

How it works

Deposit at booking, balance before the day.

1

Confirm the booking with a deposit link

A fixed amount, with the date, the vehicle and the pick-up town as the description. Send it with your written quote.

2

Send the balance before the day

A second link for the rest of the fare. Overtime or extra stops, if any, are one more link for the exact amount.

3

The money lands in your wallet

Settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

Common questions

What a chauffeur firm asks first.

Can I take a deposit at booking and the balance before the wedding?

Yes, as two links, each a fixed amount. Every link is a single payment; there is no payment plan and nothing charges automatically.

The client cancelled — how do I give the deposit back?

A deposit taken this way is a full payment, not a card hold, so returning any of it is a payment you send back yourself, under your own booking terms. Zoyn has no refund button.

How do I charge for waiting time or overtime?

Create one more link for the extra time, with the hours in its description. Every link is fixed once it is created, so the overtime is its own payment rather than a change to the original one.

A corporate client wants a monthly account. Can Zoyn do that?

Not as automatic billing. Each invoice is its own link, and there is no automatic monthly charge. You send the month's invoice as one link and the client pays it.

Can clients pay without a wallet?

A card option may appear at checkout in some countries. Buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks, and a card payment can be declined or asked for ID before it is sent.

Is the money really mine once it arrives?

It lands in a wallet only you control. Two honest limits: while your Zoyn account is under review, Zoyn pauses automatic payouts to your wallet until the review is finished; and a card payment can be declined or asked for ID before it is sent.
