Payments for independent hotels and guesthouses

Take a deposit that holds the room, from a guest booking direct.

Independent hotels and inns, guesthouses and B&Bs, boutique and small-group properties, serviced apartments taking direct bookings, and properties with no online booking engine of their own all take money from guests they have never met. Settle stablecoins straight to a wallet you control, with no card-network chargebacks on the on-chain leg.

Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 10 we refuse.

Why this trade gets flagged

A direct booking is a payment the guest's bank has never seen your property take before.

A guest booking direct, from another country, is exactly the payment an issuer is wary of

A guest found the property on a review site or a recommendation and is booking direct rather than through a large booking platform — which means the property is taking the payment itself, from someone whose bank has never seen them transact with this business before, often from a different country.

Guests can pay from their own wallet, or by card where available through integrated global on-ramp bridges — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks. Settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

“The room was not what I booked” becomes a dispute weeks after checkout

A guest disputes a deposit or a no-show charge over a disagreement about the room, the view, or the cancellation policy — and the disagreement arrives as a card dispute long after the stay is over and the money looked settled.

The guest pushes the payment, and Zoyn does not reverse a settled transfer, so the on-chain leg produces no card-network chargebacks and no ratio to defend. Your own cancellation policy governs refunds, together with the consumer law that applies to you. Zoyn has no refund button: any refund you owe is a payment you send from your own wallet. Card- or bank-funded checkout can still be subject to the provider's own dispute rules.

Every booking is a different number of nights, at a different rate

A one-night stay, a week-long booking and a group taking three rooms are three different amounts in the same week — not a fixed room-rate a generic checkout can hold without a reservation system behind it.

Each booking is its own fixed-amount payment link, priced by you for that stay, whether it is a deposit or full payment.

How it works

One link per booking, priced by you.

1

Create the booking link

Fixed amount, with the guest name and dates as the description. Send it from your booking confirmation email, your listing, or a reply on however the guest reached you.

2

The guest pays

Card where available in their country, or from their own wallet.

3

The money lands in your wallet

After the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

Common questions

What a hotel or guesthouse asks first.

Can I take a deposit now and the balance at check-in?

Yes — as two links, each a fixed amount. Every link is a single payment; there is no repeat or automatic billing.

My rates change by season and by room — is that a problem?

No. Each link carries its own amount, set by you when you create it.

Can I put it on my own web address?

Yes — the checkout can run on your own payment address.

A guest disputes the room weeks after checkout — what happens to the payment?

The guest pushes the payment, and Zoyn does not reverse a settled transfer, so the on-chain leg produces no card-network chargebacks and no ratio to defend. Your own cancellation policy governs refunds, together with the consumer law that applies to you. Zoyn has no refund button: any refund you owe is a payment you send from your own wallet.

Legal & regulatory disclosures

Zoyn is a software provider operating a non-custodial payment orchestration platform — not a payment gateway, money transmitter, payment processor, or financial institution. Zoyn does not custody settled merchant funds or set provider reserve terms, and does not act as a merchant of record or money services business. Checkout and on-ramp providers may process or hold card- or bank-funded payments under their own terms before on-chain settlement reaches the merchant's nominated contract after required confirmations.

Direct merchant account onboarding supported across 64 verified global jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Global buyer checkout (USDC settlement) supported across 130+ countries via integrated on-ramp bridges; buyer-checkout coverage is determined by the third-party on-ramp providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice.
