Payments for IT support and helpdesk firms

Get paid for the ticket you closed, by the client in another city.

Break-fix work, remote support sessions, on-site visits and prepaid blocks of hours: send one payment link per ticket or per block, and the client pays from their own wallet. Each invoice is its own link, and there is no automatic monthly charge.

Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 10 we refuse.

Why this trade gets flagged

Remote work, a client you have never met, and payment after the fact.

You did the work first, and now you wait for the invoice to be paid

Break-fix and helpdesk work is paid after the job: the server is back, the ticket is closed, and the invoice goes out. Then it sits in someone's accounts queue while your technician has already moved on to the next client.

Send a payment link for that ticket the moment the client signs it off, with the ticket number as the description. The client pays from their own wallet, and the payment reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations.

Your client is in another city or another country, and has never met your team

Remote support means a client three time zones away can be a regular. Their payment arrives as a remote, card-not-present charge from somewhere you have never been, which is exactly the pattern a card risk check looks at twice.

A client who holds stablecoins pays from their own wallet, from wherever they are. A card option may also appear at checkout: buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks, and a card purchase can be declined or asked for ID before it goes through.

“It broke again a week later” turns into an argument about a bill that was already paid

The fix held, then something else failed on the same machine. The client sees one problem; you see two jobs. That disagreement is where most disputes in this trade start.

Each link is one fixed payment for one ticket, so what was paid for is written on it. Your own service terms, together with the consumer and business law that applies to you, decide what is owed. Zoyn has no refund button: any refund is a payment you send from your own wallet. Card-funded payments can still be disputed under the provider's own rules.

How it works

One link per closed ticket.

1

Close the ticket, create the link

Set the amount for the ticket or the block of hours, and put the ticket or invoice number in the description.

2

The client pays from their wallet

They open the link and pay the fixed amount. One link takes one payment, and nothing repeats.

3

The money reaches your wallet

After the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

Common questions

What an IT support firm asks first.

Can I bill a client every month?

Yes, one invoice at a time. Each month's invoice is its own payment link for a fixed amount, sent by you. There is no automatic monthly charge, and nothing is taken from the client without them paying the link.

Can a client buy a block of support hours in advance?

Yes. Create one link for the block, at the price you set. When the hours run out, the next block is a new link.

Who is this page written for?

IT support and helpdesk firms whose business clients came to them: break-fix, remote support and on-site visits for small and mid-sized companies. It is not written for firms that find customers by cold-calling households.

Is the money held anywhere before it reaches me?

A wallet payment goes to a wallet only you control after the required network confirmations. Two honest limits: a payment can be turned away before it reaches you if the checks on it do not pass, and while your Zoyn account is under review, Zoyn pauses automatic payouts to your wallet until the review is finished.

Do you accept my business?

We publish every business type we take and every one we refuse, and every application is checked before it goes live. We don't promise a timeline we can't keep.

Not sure we'd take your business at all? See what we accept and what we don't. Selling software rather than your team's time? Read the software guide.

Send your next closed ticket as a Zoyn link.
