Payments for kitchen, bathroom and window fitters

Take the deposit when the units are ordered.

Kitchens, bathrooms, windows and doors are often made to measure, so you order them weeks before you fit them. Send one link for the deposit when the order is placed, and one for the balance when the fit is finished. Your customer pays from their own wallet, and stablecoins settle to a wallet you control. A deposit taken this way is a full payment, not a card hold, so returning any of it is a payment you send back yourself.

Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 11 we refuse.

Why this is harder than it looks

Made to measure, ordered early, and paid for at the end.

Made to measure, ordered early

Units, worktops and frames are made for one home, weeks before the fitting day.

Send the deposit link when the order is placed, with the order number as the description. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount.

Weeks between order and fitting

The balance is not due until the job is finished.

Send the balance link when the fit is done. Zoyn keeps no card on file and charges nothing automatically.

Agreed in a showroom or at home

The design is often settled at a showroom visit or a survey in the customer's home.

Send the link from your phone once the design and the price are agreed. A changed design is a new link.

Deposits and balances settle to a wallet only you control.

Two limits worth knowing. If your own account with us is under review, automatic payouts pause until that is resolved. And a buyer paying by card can be declined, or asked to prove who they are, before the money is sent — a payment that doesn't happen, never money taken back from you afterwards.

How it works

A deposit at order, the balance at the finish.

1

Agree the design and the contract

Your contract says what the deposit is, when the balance is due, and what happens if the order is cancelled.

2

Send the deposit link, then the balance

Your customer pays from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks.

3

The payment reaches your wallet

After the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

Common questions

What a fitter asks first.

The customer cancels after the units are ordered.

Your contract, and the rules that apply where you trade, decide what is owed. Returning any of it is a payment you send back yourself. Zoyn has no refund button.

A unit arrives damaged or the wrong size.

Your contract decides what happens next. If a change adds to the price, send a new link for the difference. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount.

Can the balance be charged automatically?

No. Zoyn keeps no card on file and charges nothing automatically. Each payment is its own link, which you send when it is due.

What does it cost me?

A percentage of each payment, agreed with you in writing before you go live: crypto payments start at 0.75%, and card payments, if your business can take them, have a separate, higher price. No monthly platform fee and no setup fee. Network fees, and any extra charge for how your customer pays, are separate. Your customer pays them on top of your price and sees their total before they pay.

Will you take my fitting business?

We publish every business type we take and every one we refuse, and every application is reviewed before it goes live. We don't promise a timeline we can't keep.

Working for an owner who lives abroad? Read the page for renovation for overseas owners. Working in another home trade? Read the page for home services. Not sure we'd take your business? See exactly how we decide.

Take your next fitting deposit as one link.

Apply today, and settle each payment to a wallet only you control after the required network confirmations. Every application is reviewed.

Legal & regulatory disclosures

Zoyn is software. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a payment gateway, a money transmitter or a money services business. Zoyn is never the seller in a sale (the "merchant of record"). Zoyn never holds a shop's money, and does not decide how long a payment company may hold it. When a customer pays by card or bank, the payment company handles that payment under its own terms and may hold it for a short time. The money then goes to the shop's own payment contract once the payment network has confirmed it.

Businesses can be based in 64 jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Customers can pay from 130+ countries through the checkout providers we connect to; which countries customers can pay from is set by those providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice. Not available in sanctioned jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
