Take a deposit weeks before the van arrives.
Contractors, builders and trades (MCC 1711) take money before the work starts and get underwritten for the gap. Materials have to be bought now, out of cash an acquirer is holding back. Push-finality settlement removes the hold.
The problem is the gap between paying and travelling.
Deposits taken weeks before the work
A deposit collected in March for a June installation sits inside the acquirer's dispute window the entire time. Long-fulfilment trades are a standard reserve category for exactly that reason.
Settlement is treated as final only once the transaction confirms, and that confirmed leg is not a card-network dispute rail, so the scheduling gap stops mattering to your cash position.
Disputes after the job is signed off
Workmanship disagreements arrive as card disputes, where the funds are pulled back from you first and argued about afterwards, with a fee either way and no site visit in the evidence pack.
Zoyn does not reverse a settled transfer, so a workmanship disagreement stays a conversation about your contract instead of an issuer's decision.
Subcontractors waiting on your settlement
You are paid in a batch and your electrician, plumber and materials supplier are paid out of it later, which puts your working capital between the customer and the trades.
Settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations, so your working capital never sits between them and the trades — paying on is a USDC transfer whose timing you control, not a batch you wait for.
One payment, settled to a wallet you control.
Create the job link
Set the deposit or stage amount and the job reference. Send it by text, by email, or on your own quote.
Customer pays their way
Card or crypto on a hosted checkout. Card availability depends on the buyer's location, currency, and available checkout providers. Card-funded payments are handled upstream by integrated global on-ramp bridges — you never handle card details.
Split contract routes the job payment
Shares are fixed in bps when the contract is deployed: your share and the platform fee. Every payment follows them exactly, verifiable on a public block explorer.
USDC lands in your vault
Smart-contract vault settlement on Base L2, final after the required network confirmations, into a wallet you control — cash for materials on the day, not after a batch cycle.

Jurisdictions we cannot serve
We cannot onboard merchants operating from comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. We do not hold ourselves out as licensed anywhere.
Wallet addresses you'll be paid to are checked against sanctions lists when you enter them, and re-checked every day after that.
What home services & trades merchants ask first.
Can we take a deposit now and the balance on completion?
Yes — that is two links. Each one is a fixed amount you create and send when the stage is due. Zoyn does not run recurring billing, so nothing is ever taken from a customer without them completing that checkout themselves.
A customer is withholding over snagging. Are we exposed?
Not to a reversal. Money already settled cannot be clawed back, so the disagreement is about the remaining stage payment and your contract terms — a commercial negotiation rather than a card-network process with a fee attached.
Do our subcontractors need to understand crypto?
They need a wallet address to be paid into, which they control. Each address is screened against real-time on-chain compliance oracles when it is added and re-screened daily. Zoyn never holds their funds.
