Transportation & logistics

Get paid by the shipper, not weeks behind the load.

Freight brokers, forwarders and carriers (MCC 4214 and 4215) move money across borders on almost every job, and get paid on terms that sit well behind the fuel, the driver and the customs bill. Settlement that is treated as final only after the required network confirmations, in USDC, to a wallet the recipient controls, takes the correspondent-bank leg out of the equation entirely.

Why this category gets penalised

The problem is the gap between paying and travelling.

Cross-border payments that take longer than the shipment

Getting paid by an overseas shipper or customer means their wire goes through a correspondent bank, loses an FX spread, and arrives on a delay you cannot pass on. The freight can arrive before the payment does.

Your shipper pays a link by card where available, or from a crypto wallet, and it settles in USDC to your wallet — no correspondent bank in the path.

Accessorial charges disputed after delivery

Detention, demurrage and re-delivery get argued about once the freight is already gone. On card rails the funds are pulled back from you first and the argument happens afterwards, with a fee attached either way.

Payments are pushed by the payer, not pulled from them. Zoyn does not reverse a settled transfer, so representment does not apply on the on-chain leg.

Broker, carrier and agent paid out of one lump

A single load can owe a line-haul carrier, a drayage operator and an introducing agent. Splitting that by hand out of one settlement is where margin quietly disappears.

Settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations, so carrier, drayage and agent can be paid on timing you control, from your own wallet, out of money that has already landed — no per-leg wires to reconcile.

Working capital tied up in settlement float

Fuel, tolls and driver pay are due now; card settlement and net terms are not. Reserves and delayed funding on a high-value, long-fulfilment category make the gap wider.

Settlement is treated as final only after the required network confirmations, into a smart-contract vault on Base, so the cash is available the day the load is paid for.

How it works

One payment, settled to a wallet you control.

How a travel booking settles through ZoynA traveller pays a booking link. The payment reaches a settlement contract, which divides it in fixed proportions set when it was deployed and pays the merchant’s own wallet and the platform fee directly. Zoyn sits outside the flow of funds.TravellerHostedcheckoutSplitcontractYour walletPlatform feeZoyn (config)Funds never pass through Zoyn

Create the link for the load

Set the amount and the booking reference. Send it with the rate confirmation, or from your own portal.

2

The shipper pays their way

Card or crypto on a hosted checkout. Card availability depends on the buyer's location, currency, and available checkout providers. Card-funded payments clear upstream through integrated global on-ramp bridges, so card data never reaches you.

3

The split contract routes the payment

Proportions are fixed when the contract is deployed: your share and the platform fee. Every payment follows them exactly, verifiable on a public block explorer.

4

USDC lands in a wallet you control

No intermediary bank, no cut-off time. Zoyn is not in the flow of funds and never holds them.

Category

MCC 4214 and 4215 are supported categories in this group. Your declared category is checked at signup.

Jurisdictions we cannot serve

We cannot onboard merchants operating from comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. We do not hold ourselves out as licensed anywhere.

Wallet addresses you'll be paid to are checked against sanctions lists when you enter them, and re-checked every day after that.

Common questions

What transportation & logistics merchants ask first.

Our shippers are in several different countries. Do they each need a bank arrangement with us?

No. They pay a link by card where available, or from a crypto wallet, and the money settles in USDC on Base to your wallet — the country they pay from does not add a correspondent bank. Paying your own carriers and agents afterwards is something you do yourself, from your own wallet; Zoyn is not in that flow.

Can we pay drivers and yard staff this way too?

Paying your own drivers and yard staff sits outside Zoyn — you pay them yourself, from your own wallet, on your own schedule. Zoyn is a payment-link platform and is not in that flow; what it changes is that the load is settled and the money is yours the day it is paid.

What happens if a shipper disputes a charge after we have been paid?

On the on-chain leg there is nothing to reverse — settlement is treated as final only after the required network confirmations. The commercial disagreement is still a commercial disagreement, resolved under your rate agreement, but it is not resolved by money being taken out of your account while it is discussed.

Legal & regulatory disclosures

Zoyn is a software provider operating a non-custodial payment orchestration platform — not a payment gateway, money transmitter, payment processor, or financial institution. Zoyn does not custody settled merchant funds or set provider reserve terms, and does not act as a merchant of record or money services business. Checkout and on-ramp providers may process or hold card- or bank-funded payments under their own terms before on-chain settlement reaches the merchant's nominated contract after required confirmations.

Direct merchant account onboarding supported across 64 verified global jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Global buyer checkout (USDC settlement) supported across 130+ countries via integrated on-ramp bridges; buyer-checkout coverage is determined by the third-party on-ramp providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice.
