Payments for ocean cruise bookings

Take the deposit that holds the cabin, and the balance before the sailing.

Ocean and Caribbean cruise lines and agents, Mediterranean and transatlantic sailings, cabin upgrades and add-ons, group and family cabin bookings, and repositioning and one-way sailings all take money months before anybody steps aboard. Get paid in stablecoins straight to a wallet you control, and a payment from a customer's own wallet cannot be pulled back through a card dispute.

Why this trade gets flagged

A cabin paid for in winter for a sailing in summer is the shape a risk model is built to stop.

The deposit is taken months before a single day of the cruise happens

A cabin booked in winter for a summer sailing commits real money to a trip that is a long way off, and the traveller booking it is very often in a different country from the line or agent taking the payment. Both the long gap and the overseas leg are exactly what an issuer treats as risk.

Travellers can pay from their own wallet, or by card in countries where a card option is offered — whether a card works depends on where they are and on the card company's own checks. The money reaches your wallet once the payment has fully cleared, in the currency the link was set in.

A cabin category or a port changes, and the disagreement turns up as a dispute after the sailing

A cabin is reassigned, a port of call is dropped for weather or scheduling, or an itinerary changes after booking — and the disagreement about what was actually delivered arrives as a card dispute long after the cruise and the money both looked settled.

The traveller sends the payment themselves, and Zoyn does not reverse it once it has cleared, so a payment made from a wallet cannot be pulled back through a card dispute. Your own booking terms govern itinerary changes and refunds, and the consumer-protection law that applies to your sailings decides what a traveller is owed. Zoyn has no refund button: any refund you owe is a payment you send from your own wallet. Someone who paid by card or bank can still raise a dispute under that company's own rules.

A solo cabin, a family cabin and a group of cabins are all different amounts

An interior cabin for two, a balcony suite for a family, and a block of cabins for a group booking are three very different figures in the same sailing — not a single fare a generic checkout can hold.

Each booking is its own fixed-amount payment link, priced and sent by you, whether it is a deposit or the balance.

How it works

One link per booking, priced by you.

1

Create the booking link

Fixed amount — a deposit or the balance — with the sailing and cabin reference as the description. Send it from your quote, your booking confirmation, or a reply on however the traveller reached you.

2

The traveller pays

Card where available in their country, or from their own wallet.

3

The money lands in your wallet

Once the payment has fully cleared, in the currency the link was set in.

Common questions

What a cruise seller asks first.

Can I take a deposit now and the balance closer to sailing?

Yes — as two links, each a fixed amount. Every link is a single payment; there is no repeat or automatic billing.

My cabins are all different prices — is that a problem?

No. Each link carries its own amount, set by you when you create it.

Can I put it on my own web address?

Yes — the checkout can run on your own payment address.

A traveller disputes the cruise weeks after it sailed — what happens to the payment?

The traveller sends the payment themselves, and Zoyn does not reverse it once it has cleared, so a payment made from a wallet cannot be pulled back through a card dispute. Your own booking terms govern itinerary changes and refunds, and the consumer-protection law that applies to your sailings decides what a traveller is owed. Zoyn has no refund button: any refund you owe is a payment you send from your own wallet.
