Payments for independent travel agents

Get paid for the planning, not only the booking.

Home-based and independent travel agents spend hours designing a trip before anyone books. Send one link for your planning fee, and one for each part of the trip you sell in your own name, and stablecoins settle to a wallet you control.

Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 11 we refuse.

Why this is harder than it looks

A fee for your time, clients far away, and the question of who sold what.

Planning takes hours before anything is booked

You research, quote and redesign a trip, and a client can walk away with your plan.

Send one link for your planning fee before you start, with the trip reference as the description. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount.

Your clients are often abroad

Expats, honeymooners and families planning a trip home pay from another country, and a bank wire costs them fees.

They pay from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks.

Who sold what matters when a trip goes wrong

When a supplier lets a client down, the complaint still comes to you.

Each link is for one thing you sell, with your own reference on it. Your terms say what you sold, and your terms decide what is owed.

Planning fees and the parts of a trip you sell settle to a wallet only you control.

Two limits worth knowing. If your own account with us is under review, automatic payouts pause until that is resolved. And a buyer paying by card can be declined, or asked to prove who they are, before the money is sent — a payment that doesn't happen, never money taken back from you afterwards.

How it works

A link for your fee, then a link for each part you sell.

1

Agree the fee and the trip

Your terms say what your planning fee covers and which parts of the trip you sell in your own name.

2

Send one link for each

The client pays from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks.

3

The payment reaches your wallet

After the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

Common questions

What an independent travel agent asks first.

Can my client pay for their flights through this?

This page is about your own planning fee and the parts of a trip you sell in your own name. How airline tickets are paid depends on your arrangements with the airline, and we make no claim about it.

Can I take a deposit now and the balance before departure?

Yes — as two links, each a fixed amount. There are no instalments and nothing is charged automatically.

The client cancelled. What happens to my fee?

Your terms decide what is owed. A payment taken this way is a full payment, so returning any of it is a payment you send back yourself. Zoyn has no refund button.

What does it cost me?

A percentage of each payment, agreed with you in writing before you go live: crypto payments start at 0.75%, and card payments, if your business can take them, have a separate, higher price. No monthly platform fee and no setup fee. Network fees, and any extra charge for how your customer pays, are separate. Your customer pays them on top of your price and sees their total before they pay.

Will you take my travel agency?

We publish every business type we take and every one we refuse, and every application is reviewed before it goes live. We don't promise a timeline we can't keep.

Running your own tours? Read the page for tour operators. Booking for foreign travel companies? Read the page for destination management companies. Not sure we'd take your business? See exactly how we decide.

Send your next planning fee as one link.

Legal & regulatory disclosures

Zoyn is software. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a payment gateway, a money transmitter or a money services business. Zoyn is never the seller in a sale (the "merchant of record"). Zoyn never holds a shop's money, and does not decide how long a payment company may hold it. When a customer pays by card or bank, the payment company handles that payment under its own terms and may hold it for a short time. The money then goes to the shop's own payment contract once the payment network has confirmed it.

Businesses can be based in 64 jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Customers can pay from 130+ countries through the checkout providers we connect to; which countries customers can pay from is set by those providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice. Not available in sanctioned jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
